Job Title: Injection Moulding Setter – Night Shift

Location: Southminster, Essex

We are working with a leading manufacturer who is looking for an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join their night shift team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring smooth production, tool changes, and machine set-ups within a modern cleanroom and moulding facility.

Key Responsibilities – Injection Moulding Setter – Night Shift

• Carry out tool changes, machine set-ups, purging and adjustments with minimum downtime.
• Optimise production cycles, ensuring target times and quality standards are met.
• Set and maintain ancillary equipment including conveyors, mould heaters, and dosers.
• Support production teams by identifying and resolving moulding/tooling issues.
• Ensure line clearance, material batch traceability, and high standards of housekeeping.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on moulding machines and related equipment.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement and process optimisation.

Qualifications & Requirements – Injection Moulding Setter – Night Shift

• Experienced in injection moulding with practical machine setting skills.
• Apprenticeship, training, or equivalent background in plastics, moulding, or manufacturing.
• Able to read and work from setting sheets and use inspection tools.
• Flexible, organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Previous experience in medical device manufacturing or cleanroom environments (advantageous but not essential).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams.
