Injection Moulding Process Technician Tredegar 42,000 - 55000 Permanent Weekend Days Friday to Sunday, 7am - 7pmYolk Recruitment is working with an established international manufacturer to recruit an experienced Injection Moulding Technician for its South Wales operation. The business has a long history of manufacturing in South Wales, excellent staff retention and a strong long-term order book. Recent investment includes five new injection moulding machines, and this is an opportunity to join an established technical team in a varied, hands-on role. You''ll be responsible for setting, troubleshooting and optimising injection moulding processes, working across different machines to resolve production problems, improve quality and maintain reliable production.What you''ll be doing Carrying out mould tool changes, machine setting and process adjustments.Diagnosing and resolving injection moulding defects and production problems.Optimising process parameters to improve quality, cycle times and reduce scrap.Investigating issues with machinery, tooling and materials, working alongside Maintenance and Toolmaking colleagues where required.Supporting mould trials, process improvements and the introduction of new tooling.Sharing your technical knowledge with operators and less experienced setters.
