Injection Moulding Process Technician

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Process Technician to join a leading manufacturing business operating within a manufacturing industry. This role is offered on a Panama shift pattern (6am 6pm / 6pm 6am, rotating days and nights). Key Responsibilities of a Process Technician Work collaboratively with the Process Manager and Shift Leader to maintain smooth production flow. Quickly identify, fault-find, and resolve process, tooling, and machine issues with a solutions-focused approach. Ensure minimal downtime by implementing effective problem-solving methods and escalating when required. Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives. Take a hands-on role in the production environment while providing shift management support when necessary. Lead by example in upholding Standards (SOPs, Health and Safety, Quality). Participate in production meetings, shift handovers, and ensure all process personnel remain engaged with production requirements. Carry out tool fitting/removal, colour changes, purging processes, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Support trials and projects, documenting results clearly and effectively. Drive initiatives to reduce scrap, waste, and unplanned stoppages through efficient methods of working. Promote high standards of cleanliness and compliance with audit requirements.
