The role will oversee a skilled workforce, operating in a well stocked facility that utilises various bits of kit and a wide range of materials. A company who are proud to support their workforce, this will be a great role for an individual with the right experienceDaily duties:Oversight of 20 - 45 headcount depending on production demands, driving production standards Be responsible for the planning of production against customer needsEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and company policiesEnsure safe working practices, whilst training and mentoring staff to be the best they can be Driving continuous improvement and Lean behaviours in the facility. Oversee and improve processes where possibleBe hands on with the machinery and products when necessary to ensure quality and conformance is at it''s maximumExperience needed for the role: Strong technical knowledge of injection moulding operations, materials handling, and production processes.Recent leadership or management experience in an injection moulding environment.Examples of process improvement identification and applicationCapabilities around production planning for Just in Time manufacturing against client requirementsExperience with stock management a bonusSupporting qualifications around Lean, Six-Sigma, Health and Safety, ..... full job details .....
