Injection Mould Toolmaker About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Injection Mould Toolmaker to join our skilled and dedicated team based in Stevenage. Working in a modern, well-equipped toolroom, you will be responsible for the manufacture, modification, maintenance, and repair of high-precision injection mould tools.Our facilities include Hurco machining centres, Sodick wire and CNC spark eroders, Jones and Shipman surface grinders, with in-house Pro Engineer design and Powermill CAM programming systems. Key Responsibilities Manufacture, modify, and repair injection mould tools to high precision standardsOperate a range of equipment including: Manual milling machines and lathesSurface and cylindrical grindersManual and CNC spark erodersCNC wire eroders Carry out tool fitting, assembly, and adjustment for production readinessManufacture and fit new injection mould tools as requiredPerform general toolmaking activities including milling, grinding, and fittingUse hand tools such as files, hacksaws, and grindersWire and troubleshoot hot runner systemsEnsure all work is completed safely, accurately, and within specified timeframes Skills and Experience Required Proven experience in injection mould toolmaking and high-precision machiningStrong knowledge of tool assembly, fitting, and repair for complex mould toolsSkilled in manual machining, grinding, and EDM processesCNC machining experience is advantageousAbility to work independently and as part of a small, ..... full job details .....
