Following a period of significant growth and expansion, the company is seeking an Injection Mould Technician to help drive increased production. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual eager to develop their skills and advance their career. In this role, you will carry out routine maintenance on injection moulding machinery while actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the production process.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate injection moulding machines
- Monitor machine parameters to ensure quality production
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process
- Improve machine cycle time
- Continuous improvement activities
- Perform routine maintenance on the machines
- Ensure all safety guidelines and protocols are followed
- Work with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
Skills and Experience:
- Plastic injection mould or plastic extrusion experience is essential
- Experience with maintaining, repairing and preventing faults on hydraulic machinery.
