Job Profile
As the Injection Mould Setter, your primary role will be to set up, operate, and maintain injection moulding machines ranging from 22t to 120t. You will ensure efficient production by performing tool changes and troubleshooting issues.

Duties:
  • Perform safe and efficient tool changes in line with production requirements
  • Set up moulding machines and ancillary equipment for daily operations
  • Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot process or equipment issues
  • Carry out regular maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools
  • Work closely with the Production and Quality teams to meet production targets and quality standards
  • Complete all necessary documentation, including set-up sheets and maintenance logs
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process optimisations
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times

Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Setter or Technician
  • Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes, materials, and tooling
  • Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments
  • Experience with a range of machine sizes and different moulding techniques
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality and efficiency
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Polymers or Mechanical Engineering (desired)

Hours of Work:
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
  • Overtime opportunities available (subject to rate)
