Infrastructure Technician - NHS - 6 Month Contract - Norfolk VIQU have partnered with an NHS client who are seeking a Band 6 Infrastructure Technician to join a busy Digital Services team supporting critical IT infrastructure and business systems.The successful Infrastructure Technician will provide hands-on third-line support, and be responsible for maintaining the availability, performance and resilience of a complex technical environment, while also contributing to infrastructure projects, technical upgrades and service improvements.Role Responsibilities Provide up to third-line support across Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, telephony and enterprise infrastructure platforms.Manage and maintain virtualised server environments, ensuring optimal availability, resilience, performance and security.Lead technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis for major incidents, service outages and complex infrastructure issues.Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations and technology refresh programmes.Monitor and optimise network, server and system performance using proactive maintenance and capacity planning techniques.Collaborate with suppliers, project teams and internal stakeholders to deliver infrastructure improvements and digital transformation initiatives.
