Infrastructure Technician

Infrastructure Technician An established and growing multidisciplinary civil engineering consultancy is looking for an Infrastructure Technician to join its Swindon team. This is a great opportunity for someone at the early stages of their civil engineering career who wants to develop hands-on experience across highways, drainage and development infrastructure. You''ll work on a varied range of residential, commercial and leisure projects, supporting the detailed design of both private and adoptable infrastructure schemes. You''ll also have the opportunity to work directly with clients, local authorities and wider design teams, with plenty of support and training as your experience develops. The Role Your responsibilities will include: Preparing detailed infrastructure designs for residential, commercial and leisure developments; Producing engineering drawings using AutoCAD 2D; Supporting highway, drainage and external works design; Working on both private and adoptable infrastructure schemes; Liaising with clients, council officers and multidisciplinary design teams; Attending site visits and project meetings; Applying relevant technical standards and guidance; and Managing and prioritising your own project workload. You''ll receive a combination of on-the-job technical training and external training, with experienced engineers available to support your development.
