Infrastructure Support Officer

Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Infrastructure Support Officer to join the team in Ipswich, Suffolk. You will join us on a part time, permanent basis (21 hours per week). The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary of £31,537 - £36,363 per annum pro rata. This role is open to part time and job share applications, all of which will be assessed equally. About the role This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team responsible for: the collection and expenditure of the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) for both Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils on infrastructure across Central Suffolk the management of the monitoring, collection and expenditure of s106 obligations through legal agreements the interpretation and the operation of the CIL Regulations with regards to approved development and issuing formal Notices for CIL (e.g. Liability and Demand), dealing with consequent appeals providing support to other team members working towards the delivery of infrastructure including the apportionment of the Parish Neighbourhood CIL.
