Infrastructure Solution Architect - Distributed Edge Platforms 525- 575/day Inside IR35 6 months UK Hybrid We are recruiting for a senior Infrastructure Solution Architect to design and standardise distributed hosting platforms across a global manufacturing environment. The programme involves establishing repeatable Edge Hosting solutions supporting virtual machines, containers, legacy applications and data/AI workloads across multiple factory locations. Key experience:Enterprise infrastructure architecture across distributed and hybrid environmentsVirtualisation and hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI)VMware, Nutanix, Azure Local or similar platformsKubernetes, containers and associated infrastructureCompute, storage, backup, disaster recovery and high availabilityDefining reusable reference architectures and technical standardsWorkload placement across Edge, data centre and cloud environmentsProducing HLDs, architecture decisions and technical design documentationWorking across infrastructure, networking, security and operational teamsManufacturing IT/OT experience, Dell NativeEdge or GPU-enabled Edge platforms would be advantageous.Contract: 6 months, 525- 575/day, Inside IR35 via umbrella.Location: UK hybrid, with site engagement as required.Please apply with a CV demonstrating your distributed infrastructure and platform architecture experience. ..... full job details .....
