We have an incredible opportunity for an Infrastructure Security Analyst to join in either London or Hove!You''ll help safeguard the business through reviewing the security posture and configuration of our network security controls, identifying weaknesses and driving remediation activity. If you are looking for a varied role where you will get involved in vulnerability management, penetration testing, endpoint security, web filtering and firewalls then this could be the perfect next challenge for you!What you''ll be doing:Analysing data from and identifying security improvements to other Infrastructure Security components such as Web Application Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Web Filters, E-Mail Security, and DLP. Making recommendations to improve the configuration/design of the solutionConducting firewall configuration security reviews; analysing configuration and logs from Firewalls and related networking devices to identify opportunities for security improvements in configuration and design. This will involve understanding the environment, collaborating with relevant technical and application teams and making recommendations for changes, facilitating their implementation with SMEsSupporting the maintenance of the Firewall and Network assurance application; task monitoring of configuration, data collection and analysis jobsAssisting the Vulnerability Manager in the identification, prioritisation and remediation of security vulnerabilities across the LandG groupSupporting team mailboxes and queues; contributing to the management of the team''s support queues, and mailboxes, providing 1st line support of tickets and queries.Keeping up to date on threat actor approaches and methods, making recommendations to detect and defend against these activitiesQualifications

Who we''re looking for:Strong understanding of Firewall and related network security technologiesStrong understanding of networks and network protocols and the risk posed by related security vulnerabilitiesKnowledge/experience in information protection, data leakage protection, and cloud securityKnowledge of the threat landscape, particularly exploited vulnerabilitiesPrior industry experience relevant to this role covering Firewall assurance, and network security, preferably using relevant security frameworks and toolingExperience with vulnerability management, and vulnerability scanning tools would be a huge plus!Experience in managing complex stakeholder relationshipsIt would also be great if you have relevant certifications and/or accreditations relevant to this position (CISSP/CISM etc)Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
