Infrastructure Project Manager - Bridge Construction

Responsibilities

Project Organization

• Develop methods and concepts from the tendering phase through project execution.
• Analyze technical solutions and assess the availability of subcontractors, suppliers, and personnel.
• Prepare organizational plans and ensure effective resource planning.

Budgeting and Planning

• Prepare budgets, cost estimates, and construction schedules.
• Optimize investment-related tasks and monitor tendering processes.
• Select and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.

Project Management and Execution

• Lead the project team and manage stakeholders.
• Monitor contracts, progress reports, and budget performance.
• Communicate with investors, authorities, and external partners.

Project Close-Out

• Review and settle accounts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Support the preparation of new bids and obtain project references.
• Hand over completed projects to warranty and claims management departments.

Requirements

• University degree (Bachelor''s, Master''s, or Diploma in Engineering) in Civil Engineering.
• Several years of experience in construction cost accounting and project cost settlement.
• Knowledge of German construction contract regulations (VOB).
• Experience using the iTWO software platform.
• Proven ability to motivate project teams and successfully achieve project objectives.
• Extensive professional experience in bridge construction, particularly steel structures, with comprehensive knowledge of relevant requirements and standards.
