Infrastructure Engineer Location: Onsite - Newcastle Salary: Competitive + Benefits Overview An established organisation is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to lead technical projects and support core IT infrastructure across a growing business. This role combines project delivery, hands-on engineering, and technical leadership. Key Responsibilities Deliver end-to-end infrastructure projects, from design through to implementation Maintain and optimise cloud and on-premise systems Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues Collaborate with internal teams and third-party providers Support security and compliance initiatives Produce clear technical documentation Mentor junior team members and promote best practice Identify and implement continuous improvements Skills and Experience Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience with VMware, Azure, and Microsoft environments (M365, Windows Server, Azure AD) Solid networking knowledge (routing, switching, firewalls) Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Desirable Intune or endpoint management tools Security tooling experience Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Azure, VMware) Benefits Training and career progression, including professional qualifications (e.g. SQE) Up to 28 days holiday + birthday leave + long service increases Life assurance (up to 3x salary) 24/7 GP access and wellbeing support Pension scheme, mortgage ..... full job details .....
