DevOps and Infrastructure Engineer - Detailed Job DescriptionRole OverviewAn opportunity for a DevOps and Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role in delivering and supporting mission-critical systems within a highly automated environment. You will take ownership of the infrastructure layer, ensuring systems are secure, scalable, resilient, and fully aligned to customer and project requirements.This role blends hands-on engineering with architectural design, working across the full lifecycle-from initial solution design through to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing optimisation. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, delivery teams, support functions, and customer IT stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Architecture and DesignDesign end-to-end infrastructure solutions across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environmentsDefine compute, storage, networking, virtualisation, and disaster recovery architecturesProduce technical documentation including solution designs, network diagrams, and sizing specificationsAlign infrastructure designs with customer IT policies, security standards, and operational constraintsDevOps and DeploymentOwn and optimise CI/CD pipelines to support consistent, automated software deliveryManage build, release, and deployment processes across development, staging, and production environmentsImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalentDrive best practices for environment ..... full job details .....
