Infrastructure Engineer/Lab Engineer £300-£370p/day (Inside IR35) 6 months (Initially) West YorkshireOur client is looking for an experienced Lab Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise testing environment based within a data centre setting in West Yorkshire.The role is focused on the planning, building, co-ordinating and operating of enterprise test environments prior to enterprise rollout. It is a technically deep position requiring someone who fully understands enterprise infrastructure on an end-to-end basis. Key Responsibilities:Support, operate and maintain a large-scale on-premise enterprise test lab environmentValidate firewall, switching, storage and virtualisation configurationsTroubleshoot complex infrastructure issuesHandle IP management, network connectivity, SAN storage, and VMware environmentsMaintain accurate documentation and workflow tracking via JIRATranslate infrastructure requirements into structured test buildsCollaborate with infrastructure, network and security teamsRequired Experience:Experience supporting, operating and maintaining on-premise test labsKnowledge of SANs and enterprise storage technologiesExperience working with Juniper network infrastructureHands-on experience with enterprise switching technologiesExperience supporting compute virtualisation in large-scale environmentsExperience working within enterprise-level organisationsStrong technical troubleshooting and validation capabilitiesExperience using JIRA Strong Experience working ..... full job details .....
