Infrastructure Engineer (BMS) - DV Cleared

Our client is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (BMS) to support the design, delivery and operation of critical infrastructure within the telecommunications sector. This is a 12-month contract opportunity based in Ipswich or London, working across complex Building Management Systems (BMS), Central Monitoring Systems (CMS), CCTV and wider infrastructure platforms.Key Responsibilities:Architecting and delivering next-generation BMS, CMS and CCTV systemsDriving automation-first infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible and PowerShellResolving complex platform challenges across compute, storage and networkingCollaborating with engineers, architects and operations teams to deliver end-to-end servicesEnhancing platform security, resilience, availability and performance at scaleSupporting best practice in incident, change and problem managementCreating clear, reusable runbooks, engineering standards and operational documentationIdentifying opportunities to improve infrastructure delivery and introduce new technologiesJob Requirements:Experience leading the design, build, commissioning and live operation of complex infrastructure or engineering systemsStrong technical knowledge of Building Management Systems, Central Monitoring platforms, CCTV or comparable critical control environmentsUnderstanding of high-availability and mission-critical environments where resilience, security and uptime are essentialKnowledge of physical and system security ..... full job details .....
