Infrastructure Engineer - £23 p/h PAYE

Role Overview:As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure. Your expertise will help us optimise our cloud and on-premise environments, allowing us to deliver exceptional services to our clients.Key Responsibilities:Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure solutions, including Servers, storage, networking, and cloud services.Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, implementing corrective measures to prevent recurrence.Collaborate with development teams to optimise application deployment and performance.Implement security best practises and ensure compliance with relevant standards.Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities.Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures to maintain knowledge continuity.Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for critical incidents as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualisation technologies.Proficiency in Scripting languages (Python, Bash, ..... full job details .....
