Infrastructure Electrical and Mechanical Technician £38,236 probation to Merit 2 £42,888 Electrical Maintenance / Power Distribution / Substations Midland Metro Limited is looking for an Infrastructure Electrical and Mechanical Technician to join our Engineering team. This role is suited to someone with an industrial electrical maintenance background who is confident with inspection, testing, fault-finding, maintenance and repair of electrical systems in an operational or safety-critical environment. Previous tramway or railway experience is not essential. We are keen to hear from candidates with experience in industrial electrical maintenance, utilities, manufacturing, process plant, energy, substations, automation, control systems, maintenance or similar environments. The role is primarily focused on maintaining MML s electrical and mechanical infrastructure, including 750V DC traction power substations, low-voltage single-phase and three-phase installations, switchgear, control equipment, lighting, tram stop electrical assets, and associated electro-mechanical equipment. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, complete repairs, support testing and commissioning activities, and ensure accurate records are maintained within the asset management system.
