      <description>Location: Wednesbury | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | Infrastructure Electrical &amp; Mechanical Technician (S&amp;T)     £38,236 probation to Merit 2 £42,888   Industrial Electrical Maintenance / Signalling Systems / Points Machines / Control Systems / Communications Systems  Midland Metro Limited is looking for an Infrastructure Electrical &amp; Mechanical Technician to join our Signalling and Telecommunications team.  This role is suited to someone with an industrial electrical maintenance or control systems background who is confident in the inspection, testing, fault-finding, maintenance and repair of electrical and control-based systems within an operational or safety-critical environment.  You will maintain MML’s signalling and telecommunications infrastructure, including points machines, signalling control circuits, protection logic, detection systems, CCTV, passenger communication systems, radio systems, fibre network interfaces and associated electrical equipment.  Previous tramway or railway signalling experience is beneficial but not essential.
