Infrastructure and Security Engineer

Infrastructure andamp; Security Engineer - Luton- 6 month initial contract We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our customers who are looking for an experienced Infrastructure andamp; Security Engineer to support the delivery of strategic technology and security projects focused on strengthening the infrastructure, improving cyber resilience, and supporting the secure operation of critical business services. Key responsibilities: Support the implementation and optimisation of enterprise infrastructure solutions. Assist with infrastructure upgrades, migrations and technology refresh activities. Provide technical expertise across Microsoft cloud and on-premises platforms. Review existing infrastructure architecture and recommend improvements. Produce and maintain technical documentation, implementation plans and operational procedures. Conduct infrastructure security reviews and identify security improvement opportunities. Implement security controls and hardening standards across server and cloud environments. Support vulnerability management and remediation activities. Assist with identity, access management and privileged access controls. Work with internal technology teams to ensure alignment with organisational policies and industry best practice. Collaborate with project managers, architects and technical teams to deliver Project objectives. Provide technical insight and guidance during project implementation.
