Infrastructure and Cyber Security Specialist Salary: Up to £55,000 DOE Location: Remote (UK) with occasional travel to Essex Full Time Permanent Are you passionate about cyber security and looking for an opportunity to make a real impact within a growing organisation? We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Security Specialist to join a well-established business and play a key role in maintaining, enhancing and evolving the company''s cyber security posture. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role spanning security operations, infrastructure security, compliance, incident response and security improvement projects. This position is predominantly remote, with occasional travel to the company''s Essex office when required. Key Responsibilities Manage and enhance cyber security controls across the IT infrastructure. Monitor, investigate and respond to security incidents and threats. Support the implementation and management of SIEM, endpoint security and monitoring solutions. Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities. Implement and maintain Microsoft security technologies including Entra ID, Defender and Purview. Develop and enforce security policies, standards and best practices. Support internal and external audits, compliance activities and security assessments. Ensure alignment with recognised security frameworks and regulatory requirements.
