The goal is to create a technology hub for now and the future.About the RoleReporting to the Head of Projects, the Provisioning Specialist will assist in configuring and maintaining both the software and hardware components of POS systems. This role involves building systems using proprietary software, preparing hardware for installations, ensuring compliance documentation is completed, managing repairs and maintenance, controlling inventory, and managing courier dispatches.Role AccountabilitiesPOS System Configuration : Configure systems according to client specificationsDigital Signage Configuration : Configure menus and advertising screens according to client requirementsBackoffice System Administration : Maintain and troubleshoot POS and Backoffice systemsAccount Management : Support the setup and maintenance of customer and vendor accounts within the POS systemTraining : Maintain excellent product knowledge and provide training sessions to clients and stakeholdersHardware Preparation : Prepare hardware for installations, including setup and testingCompliance Documentation : Ensure all compliance documentation is accurate and up-to-dateRepairs and Maintenance : Assist in managing repairs and maintenance of POS hardwareInventory Control : Help manage inventory levels and ensure timely restocking of necessary componentsCourier Dispatches : Manage courier dispatches for hardware deliveries and returnsSkills and ExperienceTechnical Proficiency : Understanding of POS hardware, software, and related technologies such as barcode scanners, card readers, and printersSoftware Knowledge : Proficiency in POS software systems and platforms, with ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performanceData Analysis : Ability to analyse sales data, transaction trends, and inventory levels to identify improvements and cost savingsProblem-Solving Skills : Capacity to diagnose and resolve technical issues with POS systems and equipment quickly, ensuring minimal disruptionAttention to Detail : Accuracy in managing transactions, inventory, and financial records within POS systemsCommunication Skills : Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal teamsProject Management : Ability to plan, organize, and execute POS system installations, upgrades, and other projects within timelines and budgetsTraining and Support : Delivering training on POS system usage, troubleshooting techniques, and best practicesVendor Management : Liaising with POS vendors and service providers to coordinate maintenance, repairs, and upgradesCompliance Knowledge : Understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards, such as PCI DSS, to ensure data security and regulatory complianceInventory Management : Familiarity with inventory control principles to optimize stock levels and minimize lossesCustomer Service Orientation : Ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve POS-related inquiries and complaints professionallyAdaptability : Flexibility to adapt to changing technology, business processes, and industry trendsTeamwork : Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, finance, and ITTime Management : Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently in a demanding environmentDetails
