ICT Independent Consulting (ICTIC) Ltd (www.ictic.net) is an established and rapidly expanding IT support company working within the education sector. We provide ICT support and consultancy to primary schools, secondary schools and academies across the East Midlands, with a strong presence in Leicestershire. This is a full-time permanent role involving mostly onsite support with some remote work. The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS (CRB) check.To be shortlisted for this position you must have a driver’s licence and your own car. Travel expenses will be paid. A laptop and company phone will be provided. ICT Senior Support Technician to join our team. Most of the schools we support use Office 365 and Intune with Windows 11 clients or run onsite Windows Server environments. Experience with these technologies is essential, although training will be provided. We also support several clients using Google Workspace for Education and iPads, so experience with these technologies would be an advantage. The role involves working across multiple sites with a wide range of technologies and face-to-face contact with customers requiring strong communication skills.We pride ourselves on our company ethos: “customer satisfaction is key.”Essential Requirements

A minimum of a BTEC National, Advanced Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in ITMaths and English GCSE Grade C or aboveGood communication and interpersonal skillsSolid experience of first line support (second line experience desirable)Understanding of networkingExperience with cloud technologiesKnowledge of Windows 11 and Windows ServerDesirable

Experience with Apple technologies and Google WorkspaceExperience of working in schoolsExperience with Wi-Fi and switch installations, particularly UbiquitiExperience using Intune and other MDMsAny additional IT certificationsApplications
