Information Technology Support Engineer

Responsibilities
Operating System Updates: All PCs must run Windows 11 and the latest Mac OS (where applicable)Access Control: Each machine must maintain separate Administrator and Local user accounts. Remote login, password resets, and diagnostics should be centrally managed through the Administrator account. Administrative access for software installation must be restricted to authorised users and subject to monitoring.Security and Firewall: Windows Defender must be up to date, with firewall protection enabled across all devices.Patch Management: Windows Updates must be current, with all updates installed automatically once a month by an Administrator.Software Hygiene: All non-essential applications must be removed from Programs and Features.Web Filtering: Group Policy must be configured to block access to malicious websites.Encryption: BitLocker must be enabled on all devices to ensure data protection.Password Policy: Strong, complex passwords must be enforced across all accounts.Seniority level
