Information Security Assistant Manager

The role offers the opportunity to develop broad expertise across information security, cyber resilience, risk management, and governance within a dynamic banking environment. The successful candidate will gain exposure to strategic initiatives, senior stakeholder engagement, and regulatory requirements, providing a strong foundation for career progression into senior Information Security, Risk Management, Governance, and Resilience leadership roles. Essential Requirements 4+ years'' experience in information and cyber security, preferably within banking or regulated financial services. Strong experience managing ISO 27001 ISMS, security risk assessments, audit and regulatory engagements. Sound understanding of data protection governance, operational resilience and third-party risk management. Sufficient technical cyber security knowledge to engage with and challenge Security Operations teams on incidents, vulnerabilities, threat intelligence, cloud security and security controls. Experience producing management reports. Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence decisions. Technical Knowledge Expected Security Operations (SOC), SIEM and incident response. Vulnerability management and threat intelligence. Identity and Access Management (IAM) and privileged access controls. Data protection and DLP controls. Cloud security, particularly AWS. Security monitoring, detection and response processes.
