Information Security Assistant Manager

The role offers the opportunity to develop broad expertise across information security, cyber resilience, risk management, and governance within a dynamic banking environment.-

The successful candidate will gain exposure to strategic initiatives, senior stakeholder engagement, and regulatory requirements, providing a strong foundation for career progression into senior Information Security, Risk Management, Governance, and Resilience leadership roles.

Essential Requirements

• 4+ years'' experience in information and cyber security, preferably within banking or regulated financial services.
• Strong experience managing ISO 27001 ISMS, security risk assessments, audit and regulatory engagements.
• Sound understanding of data protection governance, operational resilience and third-party risk management.
• Sufficient technical cyber security knowledge to engage with and challenge Security Operations teams on incidents, vulnerabilities, threat intelligence, cloud security and security controls.
• Experience producing management reports.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence decisions.

Technical Knowledge Expected

• Security Operations (SOC), SIEM and incident response.
• Vulnerability management and threat intelligence.
• Identity & Access Management (IAM) and privileged access controls.
• Data protection and DLP controls.
• Cloud security, particularly AWS.
• Security monitoring, detection and response processes.
• Security architecture and control design principles.
