Overviewbet365 – Information Security Analyst, Vulnerability Management (Stoke) – Stoke-On-Trent, England, United Kingdom. An Information Security Analyst who will work within our vulnerability management team, focusing on the technical side of Information Security to ensure IT systems are operated securely.

The Information Security department monitors live operations, creating and reacting to alerts and anomalies identified through automated tools or manual analysis. The vulnerability management (VM) function covers ownership of processes and schedules relating to the vulnerability scanning of all endpoints.

Responsibilities

Review VM results in terms of risk and impact assessment.

Own scheduling and planning for specialist third-party vulnerability and penetration testing, and collate reports.

Liaise with various teams to enhance understanding of the Company’s risk profile and provide guidance on effective mitigations.

Work with governance and compliance to ensure Company meets regulatory requirements.

Conduct vulnerability scanning with leading tools; schedule scans across the business; ensure reporting requirements while minimising operational impact.

Articulate business risk to technical and non-technical colleagues; manage resources and ensure targets are met.

Assist with up-front information security considerations in project lifecycles; stay up to date with threats; participate in audits as needed.

Create technical documentation; escalate as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

Good understanding of general information and cyber security principles, practices and technologies.

Hands-on experience conducting vulnerability scanning, evaluating results and articulating risk.

Experience of security-related technical investigations.

Working knowledge of industry-standard information security practices.

Knowledge of developments in security technologies and their applications.

Awareness of PCI DSS at current version.

Excellent communication and documentation skills with high attention to detail.

Excellent organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines.

Pragmatic approach to governance and risk; flexible, can-do attitude.
