Information Rights Officer

Morgan Hunt are currently working with a National Regulatory Body in their search for an interim Information Rights Officer to join on a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an Information Governance professional with strong experience managing Subject Access Requests (SARs) and wider information rights requests to join a collaborative governance team supporting compliance with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information legislation.The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and processing information rights requests across the organisation, ensuring statutory deadlines are met while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, confidentiality and compliance. This is a practical, hands-on role requiring someone who can quickly become familiar with established processes and confidently manage requests from receipt through to completion.A significant proportion of the role will focus on Subject Access Requests, alongside Freedom of Information requests and other data rights enquiries.
