Information Protection and Data Classification Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Information Protection andamp; Data Classification Consultant to support an existing Fortra data classification environment within a secure enterprise environment. The role is focused on the ongoing management, optimisation and troubleshooting of the existing Fortra solution, resolving issues and ensuring the platform continues to operate effectively. Alongside the Fortra responsibilities, you will also support wider data classification activities, helping ensure information is appropriately classified and that classification requirements are consistently applied. This is a hands-on operational role rather than a new implementation or greenfield deployment. Key Responsibilities Manage and support the existing Fortra data classification environment. Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve Fortra-related issues and incidents. Monitor the effectiveness and operation of existing classification controls. Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to the existing configuration and processes. Support users and technical teams with data classification queries and issues. Undertake day-to-day data classification activities, ensuring information is appropriately classified according to organisational requirements. Review classification rules, policies and configurations and make appropriate adjustments where required.
