Information Governance Officer
Information Governance and Compliance Officer We are recruiting for an Information Governance and Compliance Officer to join a local authority''s Procurement and Contract Management team. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in compliance, governance, information governance, records management, procurement support or public sector administration. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with legislation, maintaining accurate records, supporting audits and managing sensitive information. Key Responsibilities:Managing and maintaining procurement and contract recordsSupporting governance and compliance activities across the serviceRedacting confidential and sensitive informationProducing reports and maintaining accurate dataSupporting audits, investigations and compliance reviewsAssisting with procurement and contract management systemsEnsuring compliance with GDPR and information governance requirementsLiaising with internal stakeholders and providing advice on compliance matters Essential Requirements:Previous experience in compliance, governance, information governance, procurement, contracts or a similar administrative roleExperience of redacting documents is essentialExperience using Adobe Acrobat is essentialStrong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential informationExcellent organisational and communication skillsStrong data management and administrative skills Desirable:Experience using Foxit PDF softwarePublic sector or local authority ..... full job details .....
