Information Governance Manager
About the Role This is a great opportunity to step into a visible Information Governance Manager role and lead a practical records management project with real organisational impact. You will manage the decommissioning of on-site modern records storage, helping ensure important records are reviewed, retained, transferred or preserved with confidence. Key Responsibilities Lead a key records-management workstream for the decommissioning of storage facilities. Review records and make clear recommendations on retention, disposal, transfer and preservation. Support staff and managers with practical, confident information governance advice. Carry out information audits and keep project records accurate and up to date. Handle physical records safely, including lifting and moving boxes where required. About You You will suit this role if you enjoy bringing order to complex information, working with different teams and turning records management requirements into clear, practical action. A recognised professional qualification from the Information Systems Examinations Board (BCS), or equivalent demonstrable experience in a specialist information governance area. Proven experience in records management, information management or information governance. Strong knowledge of records appraisal, retention, disposal, transfer and preservation.
