Information Governance Lead

Acting as the named Data Protection Officer (DPO), the successful candidate will ensure compliance with UK GDPR and related legislation while supporting the safe and effective use of information throughout the Hospice. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Resources, this role will lead on data protection policies, manage information governance risks, coordinate data in relation to subject access requests and GDPR breaches, oversee the annual Data Security and Protection Toolkit submission, and deliver training and advice to colleagues at all levels. We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive professional with significant information governance and data protection experience.
