Role: Information, Advice and Guidance AdvisorLocation: Sandwell (Head Office)Contract: PermanentSalary: £24,784.50 - £25,492.36 (dependent on experience)Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm (37.5 hours)A specialist support organisation is seeking an Information, Advice and Guidance Advisor to join their fast-paced frontline support service supporting victims and survivors of abuse across the Black Country.The successful candidate will provide trauma-informed first contact support, risk assessment, safety advice, and information to individuals accessing domestic abuse services, helping clients make informed decisions and access ongoing specialist support.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first contact support, advice, and guidance to victims/survivors of abuseComplete initial risk assessments and identify safeguarding concernsManage referrals from individuals and partner agenciesDeliver trauma-informed Tier 1 support and safety planningLiaise with internal teams and external professionalsMaintain accurate case records and administrationSupport clients to engage with longer-term specialist servicesWork to response targets and client outcome measuresRequirementsExperience supporting vulnerable adults and/or childrenKnowledge of domestic abuse, safeguarding, and trauma-informed practiceUnderstanding of motivational interviewing techniquesStrong communication, administration, and IT skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing demandsEnhanced DBS check ..... full job details .....
