Informatics Specialist Midwife | Barts Health NHS Trust

Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and IT competent midwife. You will co-ordinate and lead on the digital strategy for Maternity at Whipps cross but also support the wider Barts health Informatics strategy working closely across site with your counterparts. You will also be required to support information technology regarding clinical documentation. Barts Health uses Cerner millennium (CRS) for recording clinical records therefore knowledge of a computer based clinical documentation is essential.Responsibilities

Overall responsibility to ensure the accuracy of data within the service and provide reports as required.Support new developments in IT and assist with implementing a new Informatics system.Coordinate and provide information technology support and training as part of the Maternity Team.Ensure accuracy of data within the service and work with staff to ensure correct electronic inputting.Prepare the maternity dashboard and produce monthly KPIs for dissemination, discussion, and data quality assurance.About the Trust and Team
