Pay Rate: -13.10 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Industrial Wood Machinist to join a busy manufacturing team in Cradley Heath. This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity offering long-term prospects for the right candidate. You will be responsible for operating a range of woodworking machinery to produce high-quality timber components to specification.

• Operate and maintain woodworking machines such as saws, planers, moulders, and CNC routers.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood accurately using appropriate tools and machinery.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures in the workshop.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.

• Previous experience as a wood machinist or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Competent in using woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Wood Machining (preferred but not essential).

• -13.10 per hour with weekly pay
