Industrial Sewing Machinist

We are recruiting for a Heavy-Duty Sewer / Industrial Sewing Machinist in Melton Mowbray Up to 14 per hour Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm on a temp to perm basis.About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong sewing machine skills who is confident working with heavy-duty materials and producing work to a high standard. You will be working Monday to Friday, 8:00am until 4:00pm, with pay of up to 14 per hour depending on experience.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate industrial sewing machines to sew heavy-duty materials.Work from job specifications, patterns, or instructions to complete products accurately.Measure, cut, stitch, and finish materials to a high standard.Carry out quality checks to ensure finished items meet required standards.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.Report any machine faults, material issues, or quality concerns to the relevant supervisor.About YouPrevious experience as an Industrial Sewing Machinist / Heavy-Duty Sewer or similar.Confident using industrial sewing machines and working with thicker or heavy-duty materials.Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.If you have experience in industrial sewing and are looking for a new opportunity in Melton Mowbray, we would love to hear from you.
