Salary: £13.50 - £14 an hour
Hours: Monday – Friday 07:30-16:30 (Early finish on a Friday)
Contract: Temp-to-Perm
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to join a busy manufacturing team producing high‑quality stitched products. You’ll work with a range of industrial machines and materials, ensuring all items meet strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating industrial sewing machines to produce stitched components
- Working from patterns, drawings, and production instructions
- Completing repairs, alterations, and finishing tasks
- Maintaining a clean, safe workstation
- Meeting daily production targets
- Conducting basic machine checks and reporting faults
- Previous experience as an industrial machinist
- Confident using lockstitch, overlock, or twin‑needle machines
- Strong attention to detail and consistent quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time‑management and reliability
