The Role
We are currently recruiting a Temporary Painter / Workshop Operative to support a busy industrial workshop. This role focuses on preparing and painting equipment/machinery to ensure it is clean, safe, and presentable.
This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone reliable who is happy working in a workshop environment and available for temporary work.
Key Responsibilities
- Basic surface preparation including cleaning, sanding, and masking
- Painting and touch-ups using spray or hand methods
- Assisting with refurbishment of equipment
- Following all health andamp; safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
- Outside working will feature
Skills andamp; Experience
- Previous painting or decorating experience preferred
- Experience in a workshop, industrial, or manual role is an advantage
- Good attention to detail
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
