Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:

We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Electrician for a permanent position based with our client in Sheffield

Immediate start available (subject to interview process)

Salary is -45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

This will be working Monday to Wednesday 8am to 4:30pm, Thursday 8am to 3:30pm & Friday 8am to 12pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and industrial machinery.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to reduce downtime.
• Diagnose electrical faults and repair industrial equipment including motors, conveyors, control panels, and PLC systems (not essential).
• Ensure all installations and repairs comply with relevant electrical codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to support equipment upgrades or new installations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment efficiency and reliability.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an electrician in industry, particularly with machine maintenance.
• 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and motor controls.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to safety procedures and regulations.
