What You''ll Do:
- Develop and manage production schedules that ensure on-time delivery and meet customer requirements
- Create advanced data models, databases, and analytical tools to solve complex manufacturing challenges
- Design factory layouts and optimise equipment cell workflows for maximum efficiency
- Evaluate cost, resource, and scheduling impacts of new or revised work packages
- Track and analyse production performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Implement tools and processes to enhance schedule performance, reduce costs, and improve quality
- Maintain accurate shop floor time standards and resource forecasts for staffing and equipment
- Communicate insights and project updates clearly to cross-functional teams and leadership
- Bachelor''s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years'' experience in industrial or production engineering roles
- Expert-level Excel skills including Power Query and complex formulas
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage at all organisational levels
- Experience with production scheduling software such as SAP or equivalent ERP systems
- Proficiency in SQL scripting (Teradata preferred)
- Experience using data visualisation platforms like Tableau or Power BI
- Background in lean manufacturing and process improvement methodologies
- Work with industry-leading aerospace manufacturing teams in Sheffield
