Industrial Door Engineer Job Title:Industrial Door Engineer Department:Service and Installation Job Overview The Industrial Door Engineer is responsible for the installation,commissioning,maintenance and repair of industrial doors and loading bay equipment. The role involves delivering high-quality engineering services,diagnosing faults efficiently and ensuring work is completed safely,professionally and to the required standards. The successful candidate will also lead site installation activities,provide technical support to customers and colleagues,and support the development of less experienced team members. Key Responsibilities Installation,Maintenance and Repairs - Install,commission,maintain and repair industrial doors and loading bay equipment to a high standard. - Diagnose technical faults and implement effective solutions,with a strong focus on achieving a first-time fix. - Lead on-site installation teams,ensuring projects are completed safely,efficiently and within agreed timescales. - Carry out site surveys,inspections and audits to identify work requirements and potential improvements. - Complete all required commissioning documentation,site sign-offs,maintenance reports and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) records. - Maintain appropriate van stock levels to ensure the necessary parts and equipment are available. - Undertake product-specific training and develop specialist knowledge,including becoming a Salco product specialist. - Identify ..... full job details .....
