Industrial Door Engineer

Our client, a well-established and growing specialist within the industrial door and loading bay industry, is looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Industrial Door Engineer. The successful Industrial Door Engineer should have:

• Proven experience installing Rapid Roll doors.
• Strong electrical installation, testing and fault-finding skills.
• Solid experience servicing, maintaining and repairing industrial door systems.
• The confidence to work independently and take the lead on site installations.
• A professional, customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
• A full UK driving licence.

In this role, the Industrial Door Engineer will be responsible for:

• Installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of industrial doors and loading bay equipment.
• Commissioning new industrial door systems and diagnosing both electrical and mechanical faults.
• Taking ownership of site installations and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to an excellent standard.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), site surveys and audits.
• Completing accurate service reports and technical documentation.
• Building strong relationships with customers and providing professional technical advice and support.
• Identifying additional works and opportunities to support the continued growth of the business.
• Representing the company professionally while working at customer sites.

Our client is offering the successful Industrial Door Engineer a salary of £17.00–£18.00+ per hour, based on a 40-hour working week, depending on experience, alongside a strong benefits package including:
