Field-Based Doors Engineer
What You Will DoAs a Field-Based Doors Engineer, you’ll service, install, and repair door systems across the UK. You’ll work in diverse environments—schools, retail spaces, warehouses, manufacturing sites, and residential buildings—ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality outcomes. You’ll contribute to our Zero Harm culture and support team performance through technical excellence and excellent customer service.
How You Will Do ItService, install, repair, and fault-find on a range of door systemsApply risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe working practicesUse electrical knowledge to support diagnostics and repairsComplete service reports and handover documentation accuratelyCollaborate with planning and operations to manage workload and prioritiesDeliver a first-class customer experience through problem-solving and clear communicationParticipate in the Out-of-Hours (OOH) call-out rota as required

What We’re Looking ForEssential:Proven experience servicing, repairing, and installing door systemsStrong communication and relationship skillsReliable, self-motivated, able to work independently and in a teamFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel and stay overnightFamiliarity with safe systems of work and PPE usage
Preferred:Intermediate to advanced fault-finding and commissioning skillsHealth and Safety certifications (IPAF, PASMA, competency card)Electrical qualificationAbility to read technical drawings and manage complex installationsBasic computer skills (Word, Excel, PDF) for ..... full job details .....
