-35,000 basic salary with earnings up to and above -50,000 per annum (based on hours worked)

A leading industrial door / roller shutter company based in Birmingham are currently looking for an experienced Technician to join their Service and Installation Team on a permanent basis.

With a reputation for quality and timely delivery and utilising a strong and loyal customer base, the Company has been experiencing sustained growth.

Industrial Door / Roller Shutter Technician duties include:

• Travelling to customer sites throughout the Midlands using a company van
• Carrying out repair work, servicing and maintenance to all types of industrial door including roller shutters, sectional, high-speed and sliding folding doors
• Other products can also include barriers, grilles and gates
• You will work alone as part of a wider team, and alongside an Assistant to help you on larger or more complex jobs

Experience and competencies required:

• Previous experience in a similar role within the Industrial Door or Roller Shutter sector is essential
• A CSCS Card would be an advantage but relevant training can be offered
• Ability to accurately measure and utilise tools and specialist equipment is required
• A full UK-valid Driving Licence (ideally clean or minor points) is essential
• Excellent customer service skills
• Positive communication abilities both verbally and in writing are required
• The ability to utilise IT equipment such as a tablet and smartphone will be advantageous
• A flexible, positive attitude to work and your role is requested
