Industrial Disease Solicitor Location: CardiffHours: 35 hours per week, Monday-FridayStart Date: ASAP The Opportunity Yolk Legal is pleased to be working with a well-established full-service law firm that is looking to strengthen its Personal Injury team with the appointment of an Industrial Disease Solicitor. This is an opportunity to join a specialist team supporting clients who have suffered illness or injury as a result of their employment. You''ll work across a varied caseload, dealing with matters that can have a significant and lasting impact on clients and their families. The role offers the opportunity to take responsibility for your own caseload while working within a supportive team and developing your experience across a range of industrial disease claims. What You''ll Be Doing Your day-to-day work will include: Managing a caseload of industrial disease claims with appropriate supervision. Advising clients on liability, evidence and quantum and helping them understand their options. Preparing correspondence, witness statements and other legal documentation. Reviewing medical records, employment histories and supporting evidence. Working with medical experts, Counsel, clients and other third parties. Progressing claims effectively while maintaining high standards of client care. Working collaboratively with colleagues on case strategy and complex matters.
