Factory Cleaner / General Operative

Pay: £12.71 per hour
Working hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts
Shift pattern: 6:00am–2:00pm and 2:00pm–10:00pm

We are currently recruiting for a hardworking and reliable Factory Cleaner / General Operative to join our clients team. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the factory, alongside carrying out manual work to support the smooth running of daily operations.

The ideal candidate will be physically fit, have a strong work ethic and be comfortable working in a busy factory environment.

• Cleaning factory floors, work areas, equipment and production areas.

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and housekeeping.

• Carrying out manual handling and other physically demanding tasks.

• Assisting with general factory duties as required.

• Safely handling cleaning equipment and materials.

• Following health and safety procedures at all times.

• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and free from hazards.

• Working effectively as part of a team to meet daily requirements.

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.

• Comfortable carrying out manual work and standing for extended periods.

• Ability to work in a busy factory environment.

• Good attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

• Willingness to work rotating shifts.

• Ability to follow instructions and health and safety procedures.

• Previous factory cleaning or general operative experience is beneficial but not essential.

Monday to Friday on a rotating weekly shift pattern:

• Early shift: 6:00am–2:00pm

• Late shift: 2:00pm–10:00pm

• £12.71 per hour.

• Monday to Friday working pattern.

• Opportunity to gain experience in a factory environment.

• Training and support provided where required.
