Industrial Blasting and Spray Painter

We are recruiting motivated and hardworking Industrial Painters / Blasters to join our team. This is a hands-on, in-person role working with protective coatings and abrasive blasting in a production environment.Industrial Painter / Blasterpay: 16.00 per hour Full-time,Mon-Fri 08:00-16:30 Key dutiesPrepare and mask surfaces, carry out grit blasting and surface preparationApply protective coatings using airless spray pumps and other spray methodsInspect finished work to ensure compliance with coating specificationsMaintain equipment and cleaning of work areasFollow COSHH and site health and safety procedures when handling hazardous substancesWork to a high standard with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within the team Essential experience and qualificationsMinimum 3 years'' industrial painting/blasting experienceSkilled in application of protective coatings using airless spray pumpsGrit blasting experience is essentialStrong knowledge of health and safety controls for hazardous substancesAble to work accurately and reliably with minimal supervision DesirableICATS certificationMetal spraying experienceIPAF 3A and 3B, MEWP and PASMAFull driving licenceWorking knowledge of NACE and NORSOK coating specificationsFLT licence and overhead crane experience Hours and LocationPermanent, full-timeMonday-Friday, 08:00-16:30 (8-hour shift); overtime when requiredWork location: TamesideShould you require any support or assistance, please contact your local Gi Group office.Gi ..... full job details .....
