Position: Individual Needs Assistant (INA)

£ Location: Worthing

Pay: andpound;83.40-andpound;95.26 per day

£ Hours: 08:30 andndash; 15:30

£ Contract Type: Day-to-Day, Short-Term, Long-Term

Supply Desk are a nationwide education recruitment company specialising in Primary, SEND, and Secondary education. We place our teaching staff in day-to-day and long-term placements in an extensive number of Primary and Secondary schools across Brighton andamp; Hove, East Sussex and West Sussex.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Individual Needs Assistant to provide 1:1 support for children with a range of SEN across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).

Key Responsibilities:


  • andzwj; Provide tailored 1:1 support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
  • Assist in developing the childandrsquo;s social, emotional, and communication skills.
  • Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement strategies and learning plans.
  • £ Adapt activities and materials to meet the childandrsquo;s specific learning needs.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Skills and Qualities Required:


  • ££ Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable.
  • A flexible, patient approach and a passion for supporting childrenandrsquo;s development.
  • Ability to build a trusting and supportive relationship with the child, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Excellent communication skills.
