Supply Desk is a nationwide education recruitment company specializing in Primary, SEND, and Secondary education. We place our teaching staff in day-to-day and long-term placements in an extensive number of Primary and Secondary schools across Brighton andamp; Hove, East Sussex, and West Sussex.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Individual Needs Assistant to provide 1:1 support for children with a range of SEN across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored 1:1 support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
Assist in developing the childandrsquo;s social, emotional, and communication skills.
Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement strategies and learning plans.
Adapt activities and materials to meet the childandrsquo;s specific learning needs.
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Skills and Qualities Required:
Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable.
A flexible, patient approach and a passion for supporting childrenandrsquo;s development.
Ability to build a trusting and supportive relationship with the child, promoting independence and confidence.
Excellent communication skills.
